At Kool Kidz Childcare Coolaroo, we provide a vibrant setting for children from six weeks to six years old. Our centre boasts outdoor play areas divided for ages 0-2, 2-3, and 3-5, including bike tracks, sandpits, and sun-smart playgrounds. With frequent incursions and excursions, we ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for all children. Conveniently located close to shops and allied health services, our centre supports the needs of busy families.
Kool Beginnings Curriculum (KBC) is our child-focused, play-based, comprehensive curriculum. Built on the Australian Early Years Learning Framework, we aim to support all children, including those in 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten, to grow and learn through an educational program tailored to their individual goals and needs. We ensure families, educators, and visitors feel a sense of belonging, safety, and security to be who they are and are supported to become all they can be.
Our light-filled, age-appropriate childcare centre offers an extensive selection of educational and engaging books and toys for all our curious age levels.
Led by Bachelor-qualified kindergarten teachers and early childhood certified educators, we offer a higher than required educator-to-child ratio to provide more individual attention and consistency of care for your child.

The approved providers & owners of Kool Kidz Childcare Coolaroo are husband and wife Roger & Karen. Like everyone, we work hard and always strive to do our best in life. For a very long time, our dream has been to open a high-quality childcare where all children are treated like our own and all parents welcomed as one big family. In order to make our dream a reality, we moved from Sydney to Melbourne and spent lots of time working with the Kool Kidz head office on the planning and construction of Kool Kidz Childcare Coolaroo.

My mother and grandmother are both highly respected teachers in the local community. They have always told me that “Educators are engineers for the human soul. As a childcare educator, I know the importance of choosing the right childcare for children. A high-quality childcare and kindergarten service plays a very important role in the development of the children’s cognitive, language and social skills. Being a parent myself, I can personally relate to how daunting it is for parents to send their children to childcare for the first time. I have six children of my own ranging from 1-12 years of age. I have found it very rewarding being able to come to work every day and having my children close by. I pride myself in providing families with the best experience possible. I believe that children are central to everything we do. I enjoy seeing their passion when they come to the centre daily and excited for what we have planned in the program. It’s so rewarding to see a child come into the centre as a baby and leave ready to go off to school.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my family and enjoying the simple things in life.

0-1 years
To nurture your infant’s growing mind and body, our qualified educators create healthy, caring relationships with you and your child. Our rooms are filled with toys and equipment for early, play-based fun and learning to support your infant’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. They also include separate cot rooms where your baby can safely sleep according to their routine in their own cot.
Our infant Curriculum fosters early sensory exploration, motor skill development, and social-emotional growth through sensory play, tummy time, and interactive games.
1-2 years
From learning how to solve problems—to discovering books, stories, and words and creatively expressing themselves through activities like painting, singing, and dancing—experience the joy as your child becomes more independent, adventurous, and confident during these wonderful years.
We recognise your toddler’s individuality and increasing sense of independence. Our educators take time to work with your toddler to encourage their understanding of their developing emotions. Immersed in our language-rich environment, your toddler learns words and sentences by singing songs, telling stories and engaging in conversations.
3-6 years
Not only do we offer an action-packed, immersive and engaging curriculum, but free kindergarten is available at Kool Kidz. Our 15-hour per week program for four-year-olds and 5-to-15-hour program for three-year-olds saves you $2,101 per child.
