About our centre
At Kool Kidz Childcare Childcare Rowville, we provide a nurturing environment for children from six weeks to six years old. Our centre boasts sun-smart playgrounds that are being renovated with input from the children themselves, creating a space they will truly love. The yard includes a bird aviary and a safe and enriching play area. Conveniently located near allied health services, local shops, a primary school, a national park and with easy access to Wellington Road, our centre ensures a seamless experience for busy families.
Kool Beginnings Curriculum (KBC) is our child-focused, play-based, comprehensive curriculum. Built on the Australian Early Years Learning Framework, we aim to support all children, including those in 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten, to grow and learn through an educational program tailored to their individual goals and needs. We ensure families, educators, and visitors feel a sense of belonging, safety, and security to be who they are and are supported to become all they can be.
Our light-filled, age-appropriate child care centre offers an extensive selection of educational and engaging books and toys for all our curious age levels.
Led by Bachelor-qualified kindergarten teachers and early childhood certified educators, we offer a higher than required educator-to-child ratio to provide more individual attention and consistency of care for your child.

Hello. I’m Alan Cheong, the owner-operator and Approved Provider of Kool Kidz Childcare Rowville.
Your children are very precious and when you can’t be there to look after them yourself, you need to be able to entrust them with someone who guarantees to protect and care for them in the same way you do. At Kool Kidz Child care Rowville, we honour that trust by providing a safe, secure, clean and nurturing environment, and a level of personalised care that exceeds parental expectations and national quality standards.
As the owner and operator, I am onsite every day, working closely with our team, families and children. I strongly believe in communication and always welcome feedback to continually improve our centre, making it a great place to work and a safe, happy environment for children to explore, engage and learn.
Kool Kidz Childcare Rowville is truly a family-run service, with my wife Annie also deeply involved in supporting our team and the children’s learning journeys. With over 12 years of experience in the Early Childhood Sector and two masters degrees in Primary Teaching and Early Childhood Education, Annie brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our service. As Educational Leader and Office Support, she works closely with our team to develop the curriculum, guide professional development and mentor graduate teachers. Her passion for early learning ensures that every child at Kool Kidz Rowville receives the best possible start in life.
Both Annie and I are committed to helping your child grow and reach their full potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially by providing the best quality childcare at all times through proper resourcing and staffing, and a model of care that puts your child at the heart of everything that we do. Infants
0-1 years
To nurture your infant’s growing mind and body, our qualified educators create healthy, caring relationships with you and your child. Our rooms are filled with toys and equipment for early, play-based fun and learning to support your infant’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. They also include separate cot rooms where your baby can safely sleep according to their routine in their own cot.
Our infant Curriculum fosters early sensory exploration, motor skill development, and social-emotional growth through sensory play, tummy time, and interactive games.
Toddlers
1-2 years
From learning how to solve problems—to discovering books, stories, and words and creatively expressing themselves through activities like painting, singing, and dancing—experience the joy as your child becomes more independent, adventurous, and confident during these wonderful years.
We recognise your toddler’s individuality and increasing sense of independence. Our educators take time to work with your toddler to encourage their understanding of their developing emotions. Immersed in our language-rich environment, your toddler learns words and sentences by singing songs, telling stories and engaging in conversations.
Kindergarten
3-6 years
Not only do we offer an action-packed, immersive and engaging curriculum, but free kindergarten is available at Kool Kidz. Our 15-hour per week program for four-year-olds and 5-to-15-hour program for three-year-olds saves you $2,101 per child.
Our teachers follow our Kool Beginnings Curriculum, which implements the Victorian Early Years and Development Framework (VEYLDF). In our purpose-designed rooms, your child learns and develops the skills they need to be ready for school—and life.
